Tis

A former student at SAE Institute London (School of Audio Engineering) with more than ten years of field experience in live sound reinforcement, studio management, event management, vocal production, mixing & mastering, artist development, music distribution and content creation. Tis is also an award-winning volunteer, driven to exceed expectations with an extracurricular background in motivational speaking, mentorship and personal development.

In Tis’s words: “It has taken me many years to establish myself as a sound engineer and music professional. Now I am passionate about sharing my skills and knowledge with new emerging creatives. Having a lack of access to resources growing up, and financial hardships, were a common reality for me but I do not want the same for generations to come. I believe all young people should have equal access to resources and support that empowers creativity whilst removing limitation!”

As two time Sony Academy Award & Best Creative Business Award 2013 winner, with over a decade of his career working in live sound reinforcement and event management, Tis has engineered for the likes of Omar, Janet Kay, Alexander O’Neal, Chip, Miss La Familiar (aka Lala) & more. Continuing to build upon his reputation in live sound as resident engineer at the Nearly Festival, Mello Festival, Sunshine Festival, IIC Big Day Out Festival and the critically acclaimed Arts Club London. Tis studied Audio Production at SAE London and has since built up a strong portfolio engineering for events such as: BBC Asian Network at BBC Maida Vale Studios & House of iKons - London Fashion Week. Now as the head of our newly furbished recording studio, Tis has teamed up with producers MJ & K0f1 bringing great sounding recordings and competitive post production mixes at competitive prices.

Millie

Currently studying for her Level 3 Music Technology diploma, Millie has completed her 1st year successfully. Millie came to us for work experience 2022 and has since become a valuable member of the Radical Lounge team. Millie works with many of our clients and is mentored by Tis our music director and head of audio production here at Radical Lounge.

MJ

MJ graduated a BA(Hons) in Commercial Music Production at University of Suffolk - West Suffolk Campus. As a young studio producer, recording engineer and beat-maker working for almost 4 years in audio production, MJ has gone from student to pro in no time. As a highly trained pianist with being well-versed in music theory, MJ has a diverse knowledge of the genres and creates music for the UK rap, US rap, RnB, afrobeat and drill scene. MJ has a high number of his mixes/productions that have been selected for BBC Introducing’s track of the week. MJ is always dedicated to finding the best sound for each artist.
