Booth Talks
Booth Talks is where we catch up with some of our clients and local artists to find out what they have been up to in the booth. It’s an opportunity for fans to see what their favourite local artists get up to behind the scenes. Our aim with Booth Talks is to help audiences get to know their local artists and to showcase how a professional sounding song is recorded. Booth Talks is a short-form content series where we interview artists and showcase their recording process, capturing bloopers & funny moments in the process. The video content is split up into 4 videos:
- Booth Talks Interview
Asking questions about the inspiration for the song, talking about the artist’s experience recording with Radical Lounge and asking a few personal questions to help us get to know the artist better i.e. What was your impressions of the studio when you first waled in? How would you describe the session? Where did you grow up? What are some of the challenges that you face as an independent artist or What did you study at college? (All questions will be outlined and reviewed prior to any interview taking place).
- Booth Talks Live
A live vocal performance from within the Radical Lounge booth, showcasing what the artist has recorded in the session and demonstrating the outcome of a Radical Lounge session. Each artist will perform a shortened version of their song (including the intro, 1st verse and chorus). Each video will be posted on our Instagram (as a collaboration), TikTok and YouTube reels as part of our video series. - Booth Talks Recordings
A Booth Talks recording video will showcase highlights of the session, including the bloopers and all the best creative moments. With Booth Talks Recordings we aim to showcase authentic creativity in real time, capturing one off moments in time where the artist delivers a magical vocal performance or even funny mis takes/bloopers. - Booth Talks Mix Breakdown
With Booth Talks Mix Breakdown our engineers talk us through the mixing process of the session, giving us access to the tips and trick that keep Radical Lounge clients coming back. The engineer will also talk about their experience of working with a particular artist, focusing on the artist’s vocal ability, the creative chemistry between the engineer and the artist and the positive attitude which the artist brought to the session.

This is an opportunity see how a professional engineer works with an artist and an opportunity to see what vocal chains, dynamic processing and FX buses are being used. It’s a look into our engineers’ favourite plugins and some in-depth knowledge into how they are being used.
A photographer will be hired to capture the artist and engineer at work. Photos and content will be made available to the artist following a completed release plan schedule.
