It’s Not Just Music at Radical Lounge. We pride ourselves on being community centred. Sharing our skills, knowledge and resources to enrich learning experiences and support personal development among young people. Our aim is to inspire young learners to stay in education for as long as possible and to take responsibility for their own learning experiences.
Our mission is to develop the self-confidence, employability and skills of young artists within our community, so that we can empower them to fulfil their vocational ambitions. We hope to accomplish this by working along-side local schools & colleges, sharing our experiences and successes to inspire and support students with their professional, creative and artistic development in audio production, performing arts and personal development.
The program consist of a series of audio production, music industry talks and personal development workshops presented by Tis, our senior engineer and artists development manager here at Radical Lounge. With 20 years of audio production and music industry experience and more than 10 years of experience working as a youth development coordinator and mentor within the local charity sector, Tis has a lot of valuable knowledge and positive insights to share with the younger generation.
